portraits are omnipresent in everyday life and play a significant role in our cultural and social landscape. while photography promises an authentic representation of reality, portraits often act as stand-ins for the depicted person, creating a sense of parasocial familiarity. blue in green is an immersive installation that disrupts this familiarity by confronting viewers with technical and psychological interferences, encouraging a critical re-examination of portraits from multiple perspectives. - cyanotypes on plexiglass
